DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Regional Leader, your role will be to develop / manage a group of dealers and deliver dollars per
unit growth by product line through successful wholesale and retail activities; most specifically by influencing in-store Whole
goods, Parts, and Accessories best practices in ways that also contribute to dealer loyalty. Your responsibilities will include:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and achieve wholesale and retail objective targets (turnover – market share – dealer development – etc.)
for the business partners in each of the markets for which the district manager is responsible.
• Develop and execute a per-product strategic sales plan to deliver district sales targets by engaging dealers in
Segway programs and influencing dealer behaviors through Segway’s
• Maintain and develop a profitable and strong dealer network for all products within the district.
• Research, evaluate and propose new dealership opportunities to RSM in order to improve/ optimize market
coverage for each line of product and achieve growth results in the district under his/her responsibility.
• Communicate the business plan objectives and priorities to the dealer and assist in the development of a local
business plan which defines key objectives, priorities and critical factors for success for each of the assigned
markets. Ensure that the local business plan objectives and market development strategy are in line with the
domestic business plan and strategy of the region.
• Monitor business partner performance and progress during the year in order to ensure the realization of the sales
plan objectives and to propose corrective actions, if required. Monitor business partner commitment, performance
and results on an on-going basis.
• Participate in the development of the strategic business plan for the region in cooperation with the RSM, Marketing
and other departments as needed.
• Analyze and identify sales and marketing opportunities in order to optimize the efficiency of policies and propose
budget allocations that leverage the marketing strategies and sales performances of Segway Powersports and the
business partners.
• Work closely with the marketing department to ensure consistency with brand management guidelines, product
positioning strategy and value chain implementation & dealer development guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
• College or university education in a relevant field (Sales, Marketing, Business Administration)
• Powersports experience, particularly in sales and marketing, and five (5) years’ relevant experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Travel extensively while keeping financial obligations to a minimum
• Ability to set priorities and objectives to adapt to situations in order to reach targets
• Organizational skills and an ability to work within set time frames and deadlines
• Ability to make decisions, work well in teams and motivate others
• Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (50% of the time) and lift <50 pounds on a constant basis
